CHÂTEAU TERTRE DE LAUNAY

I represent the 5th generation of winegrowers in my family running Château Tertre de Launay. The estate solely produces dry white wine which makes me the unique maker of exclusively dry white wine in Bordeaux vineyard, today. To enrich my production, I planted 6 different white grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle, Sémillon, Sauvignon Gris, Colombard and Ugni Blanc. My vineyard covers 74 hectares around my property. Its name comes the Launay Hill, the highest point in Gironde (143 meters) that stands nearby.

Beautiful pale and clear yellow colour. Nice fruity and floral nose of citrus, white flowers and menthol. On the palate the wine is fresh with a very good balance between roundness, vivacity and fruity. The finish is long and subtle with good aromatic persistence.
